KES 1600A MDA (400 Volt)

1600A Free standing mains distribution assembly. Manufactured in our Southampton branch using robust 2.0mm Zintec steel, polyester powder-coated to BS538 red. Free standing for simplicity of situation for where you really need it.

This product is fully customisable just like our entire MDA range, please contact us to discuss your specific requirements and/or needs or even if you have any questions. For this standard option we offer M12 Studded terminals within the incoming section. The adjacent door houses the 4 pole 1600A isolator and the interlocked handle for this is mounted on the exterior. The bus section is located beneath the canopy for simple inspection and maintenance should you require. The bus bars are situated in such a way to easily supply all the outgoing circuits. Two large Zintec gland plates are shared for all outgoing connections.

Ten 630A MCCBs are fitted in total with five being on each side of the panel. Outgoing connections are made directly onto the MCCBs. The breakers M10 connection has a pad width of 32mm max and therefore is suitable for lugs up to and including 185s. The adjustable thermal magnetics of these can be turned down to 252A by simple adjustment of potentiometer located directly on the moulded case circuit breaker. All the MCCB’s have individual, separate user customisable earth leakage relays and associated shunt trips.

Earth leakage/RCD tripping current and times can be separately adjusted using the inbuilt potentiometers. On the interior of this cabinet you will also find the Main Earth terminal provided with multiple M10 brass bolts Exterior features include padlock hasps on all doors and a heavy-duty frame with floor fixings.
