This month, we're putting the spotlight on our TRUELink range, a collection of power connection and distribution solutions designed for professional events, entertainment and production environments.

From extension leads and Seetronic plugs and connectors through to adaptors, splitters and multi-outlet distribution units, TRUELink offers a range of options to help make connecting and distributing power simpler and more flexible.

Extension Leads and Seetronic Connectors

A key part of the TRUELink offering is its range of extension leads, providing practical connection solutions for professional power applications.

Using Seetronic plugs and connectors, the range offers connection options suited to the demands of event production, stage lighting, touring, exhibitions and other temporary power environments.

With the connectors forming an important part of the finished leads, we'll be taking a closer look at the Seetronic range, highlighting the different plug and socket options and how they can be used across professional applications.

Adaptors and Connection Solutions

TRUELink has been developed to offer flexibility when working with existing power distribution equipment.

The range includes 16A plug-to-TR1 socket and 16A socket-to-TR1 plug adaptors, allowing standard 16A connections to be incorporated into TR1-compatible cable systems.

There are also several connection and splitting options, including:

• TR1-A T-Piece: A compact 1-in, 2-out splitter for branching a single feed into two outgoing connections.
• TR1-E T-Piece: Combines a 16A plug and socket with an additional TR1 socket.
• TR1-F T-Piece: Provides a TR1 feed-in and pass-through arrangement, with a 20mm bottom gland for cable entry.

These options provide additional flexibility when setting up power connections and working with different equipment requirements.

Flexible Distribution Options

The TRUELink range also includes a selection of compact distribution blocks and larger distribution units.

For smaller applications, the range includes 2-gang, 4-gang and 6-gang 13A distribution blocks, alongside a 4-gang 16A TR1-compatible block. There's also a 4-gang 13A option with a TR1 through connection, allowing the TR1 system to be incorporated into the setup.

For applications requiring more TR1 outputs, the range includes several six-output solutions:

• TR1-G: An IMST-based distribution unit with six TR1 sockets, supplied from a 32A three-phase feed with integrated RCBO protection.
• TR1-H: A 16A distribution block offering six TR1 outlets alongside six 16A CEE-form sockets and through-feed capability.
• TR1-I: A six-output TR1 distribution unit originally developed for a Formula 1 team, featuring individually RCBO-protected outputs, LED status indicators and an IP67 inlet and through-socket.

The TR1-I is also customisable, providing scope to adapt the unit to specific project requirements.
