We can officially say it’s events season! As longer days and, hopefully, warmer and drier weather arrives, events season kicks into action.
Country shows, outdoor concerts, weddings and even coronation parties will be happening up and down the country this spring and summer. What many people often forget is how much behind-the-scenes preparation and planning goes into these events.
The event organisers must consider staging, power, and lighting. Of course, electrical contractors and specialist teams will often manage this side of things. But where do these specialist teams go for all the latest insights into managing large-scale events?
PLASA Focus Leeds, of course!
The KES team will be heading to PLASA Focus Leeds on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th May. The event will be held at the Royal Armouries near Leeds City Centre in Clarence Dock. It’s an iconic venue, easy to access and surrounded by bars, restaurants and hotels.
Most importantly, PLASA Focus Leeds is free to attend – you can register here. Over 2000+ visitors are expected over two days, all with a focus on the events industry.
Find out everything you need to know about audio-visual, pro-audio, lighting, rigging, staging, and event software. You name it for events production, and it will be at PLASA Focus Leeds. You’ll be able to find out what’s new, talk to industry suppliers like us at KES, and attend seminars and the conference programme led by industry thought leaders.
Many companies will be debuting new products for the events industry. We’ve got some exciting developments to share, so make sure you come to the KES stand, where we might even have some KES goodies (you can’t beat a conference for picking up stationery and branded swag!)
Over 150 UK-based and international brands will be exhibiting over the two-day event, so whether you’re after sound desks, lighting fixtures and fittings, power adaptors and distros, staging technology or just want to catch up with industry friends and colleagues, PLASA Leeds is the place to be in May.
Remember, you can register for free here. Let us know if you plan on heading along so we can set aside some time to catch up.
