We are seeking an organised and proactive individual to support the daily operations of the sales and administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing orders, maintaining records, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient business operations and excellent customer service.
A fulfilling and rewarding career in sales is on offer to the correct candidate with the opportunity to develop a sound knowledge of power distribution and switch gear.
The position is 8.30am- 5pm, Monday to Friday with no evening, weekend, or bank holiday working!
Skills & experience-
- Previous customer service experience is essential.
- Strong communication skills both over the phone and through email.
- Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
What You'll Be Doing...
- Process customer orders, quotations, and invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Support the sales team with administrative duties and reporting.
- Coordinate deliveries, schedules, and communication with suppliers or logistics teams.
- Maintain office filing systems and ensure records are up to date.
- Provide general office support, including reception duties when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide bespoke quotations as you progress in the role (full training provided).
- Effectively communicating with the production team to ensure customer requirements are met on bespoke projects (full training will be provided)
- Other duties as required by the business.
