KES people are a team of friendly professionals, committed to solving customers problems using the full resources, experience and expertise of the Company. Amongst the personnel are a number of time-served electricians both on the sales team and in other roles. The current management team, as well as most of the staff, have been with the company for many years and have extensive experience in the sector.

Founded by Derek Karl, who today remains the group chairman, and originally trading as Karl Electrical Supplies, the company has evolved into KES Power and Light Limited, with a Southampton Head Office, branches in Sidcup and Wakefield, plus sister company Salisbury Switchgear.

The Company specialises in bespoke design and manufacturing of Distribution Equipment and transformers for temporary or permanent use in any environment - notably construction sites, outdoor events and ship or railway repair yards, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to power and lighting supply in such environments.

KES is a leading supplier of industrial plugs and sockets, being sole UK agent for the PCE range (see www.pcelectric.at)
